Business Adaptation Grant
The Business Adaptation Grant is one of three business grants to be made available under the Derbyshire Dales Rural Innovation Grant Scheme. The scheme is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), the government’s domestic replacement for European Structural and Investment funds. The Rural Innovation Grant Scheme aims to assist business diversification, growth, adaptation and long term resilience.
Who are Business Adaptation Grants for?
Eligible micro and small businesses in the following sectors; construction, agriculture (diversification only), accommodation, service industry, hospitality, retail, creative, digital industries, knowledge based, engineering and manufacturing
Businesses need to have a trading address in the Derbyshire Dales. Priority will be given to businesses operating from business premises and directly employing staff.
What size projects may be eligible for a grant?
Total projects costs must be £2,500 to £10,000.
How much are the grants?
An intervention rate of up to 80% applies for these grants i.e. grants of £2,000 to £8,000. The remainder of the funding must be provided by the applicant business.
