Peak Walking Adventures Ltd

Peak Walking Adventures is a specialist guided walking company based in the Derbyshire Dales. A Business Adaptation Grant of £3,182 has enabled the company to employ a digital specialist to improve their website for corporate clients.

Owners, Rachel Bolton and Richard Tower are qualified guides and offer public and private walking days, fitness hikes and longer challenge walks, map reading workshops and award courses. Their clients include individuals, community groups and tour operators. Corporate groups walking for charity, on wellbeing days, or staying in the area for team activities represent a significant proportion of the company’s work.

Working with a local website specialist, Andrew Burdett Design, the grant will provide an enhanced digital platform that is informative, interactive and easy to use for corporate clients.

Richard Tower (Co-owner/Director) says:

This grant will provide an upgraded digital platform that will help us create bespoke walking experiences that are better-tailored to our corporate customers and their organisations’ needs. For a small business like ours, grants like this one are invaluable. It will help us grow our customer base and support our company’s future development.

This grant scheme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
