Hattersley Wines is an independent wine merchant based in Bakewell. An Business Adaptation Grant of £8000 has enabled the purchase of an Enomatic Wine Dispensing machine costing £12,593.

Sarah Hattersley (Director) explains…

We source wines from major wine producers who share our values, searching out small family run vineyards and makers, producing authentic and sustainable wines of distinction and character. Working with retail, on-trade and online, our aim is to make wine accessible to all through a fun and innovative approach, backed by extensive wine knowledge and hands-on experience in the hospitality trade. The team share a passion for wine and aim to share this with all our customers in an accessible and approachable way.

The grant was for the purchase of an Enomatic Wine Dispensing machine to adapt our business to offer in-house wine tasting experiences. The investment will allow us to run in-house wine tasting events for up to 25 people, offering higher quality wines with zero wastage. With the Enomatic, customers can taste up to 8 wines available daily, broadening their wine knowledge and generate resulting sales . The machine has not only taken out the elitism associated with higher priced wines but also allowed us to show the value we offer.

This grant scheme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund UKSPF).
