Cafe in the Park

The Café in the Park is in Hall Leys Park in Matlock and serves hot and cold drinks, light lunches, snacks and cakes.

A £2,806 Small Business Adaptation Grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council enabled the purchase of a new freezer, which has improved stock control and management. A new laptop has enabled better financial procedures and marketing opportunities and the outside seating area has been upgraded with a steel side fitting to the outside awning.

Kate Lane (Director) says:

The grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council has been a welcome support in improving our facilities. New refrigeration equipment helps us offer a wider range of food choices and a splash back on our outside awning makes our outside seating area dry and welcoming during wetter weather.
