Oakhill Hotel
Oakhill Hotel

Situated in Cromford, Oakhill is a 15 bedroom hotel with a restaurant overlooking the garden and serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. The hotel is a popular local venue for family celebrations and weddings. .

A £4,205 Small Business Adaptation Grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council was used to install a new pizza oven and replace a dishwasher. The addition of a pizza menu has led to an increase in food sales with guests enjoying pizza and a drink in the hotel's gardens. It is also a popular choice for wedding buffets and other events. The new dishwasher has increased efficiency in our pot wash area and is more economical to run.

Sharon Boden (Hotel Manager) says:

This grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council has enabled us to increase our menu options to include pizza. We are now able to produce delicious homecooked pizza which has led to an increase in food sales and guests in our garden and restaurant.
