Little Bear Bridal (t/a Alexandra Anne)

Based at Hathersage Hall Business Centre this bridal boutique sells designer bridal wear and accessories.

A £2,817 Small Business Adaptation Grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council helped the company invest in their own range of accessories such as capes and jackets and to personalise them with embroidery. It has enabled the business to cut down on costs by making items inhouse rather than buying at wholesale, retain staff and offer more work to production teams locally.

Jessica Seaman (Director) says:

The grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council offered us the chance to move forward with a project that - given the current financial climate - would otherwise have been shelved. It also allowed us to offer a better service at a more reasonable price to our brides and helped us continue supporting other local businesses while doing so.
