A £20,615 Business Development Grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council was awarded to support the purchase and implementation of a new high-capacity slitter, a key piece of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
The purchase was aimed at modernizing the production line, increasing output efficiency, and enabling the company to meet growing customer demand. Before acquiring the new slitter, the slitting process was a significant bottleneck in production. Since its installation, the business has seen a number of benefits – including a boost in productivity, a reduction in downtimes and increased competitiveness in the marketplace.
