Peak UK Kayaking Company

Peak UK Kayaking is one of the world’s leading brands of kayaking wear. Operating from its own purpose built factory at Darley Bridge, the company designs and manufactures kayaking apparel, including life jackets, jackets and wetsuits. They supplied 32 nations in the Paris Olympics in 2024, these teams going on to win 12 medals.

The £4,828 Small Business Adaptation Grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council was for the development of the company’s website to include a business-to-business online order portal for their trade and professional customers.

Peter Astles (Director) says:

The portal enables our account customers to order online at our trade prices, with live stock levels. Their orders integrate with our sales/accounts system. This saves us time inputting data, removes mistakes and saves costs. It also improves our order turn around times and customer satisfaction. Thank you Derbyshire Dales District Council for your support “
