Rutlands Ltd is a company selling a wide range of woodworking tools online – including equipment for routing, sanding, sawing, drilling and planing.

The company was awarded a £10,381 decarbonisation grant via the Accelerator programme from Derbyshire Dales District Council.

The grant funding supported replacement office and warehouse and external fluorescent lighting with LED lighting at their premises at Deepdale Business Park in Bakewell. The aim was to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The warehouse lights are fitted with motion sensors to further reduce energy consumption.
